It started with fairy tales and quickly escalated to Santa and finally to God
Columbus discovered America
'Indians' were savages
Slaves loved their masters
and Coke was the Real Thing
Presidents never lied
War was duty and always justified
cops were always the good guys
And despite having no idea what allegiance meant we pledged it to America every day of school for years
Lies, lies, and fantasy, sprinkled with child endocrination and programming
And now racists want to continue it all behind feigned indignation of critical race theory that they do not understand and use only as excuse
